For many people it is easy to get into the workout routine. What they forget is the calorie intake, they often get really hungry from all that hard work at the gym and eat even more. The first thing you can do is to keep track of your calorie intake during a week where you have exercised regularly. Next repeat this same process but this time without exercising at all. You will most likely see that you have consumed less during the non workout period than you did when you exercised.

I also like to eat brown rice and whole wheat pasta. This just tastes better than the white alternatives. And they include loads of fibre with very little sugar.


If you are like me and love a little sweet snack every now and then, go for baked apples. Just slice them, put some cinnamon and sugar on them and bake them for a while. Delicious!

I want you to do these as fast as you can for 1 minute without stopping to rest. After you complete that, rest for 45 seconds before completing another minute of them. Do 3-4 sets of these 5 days a week. Listen... these take about 5 minutes of your time. THAT'S NOTHING. Just humor me and do them for 2 weeks and I'm positive you'll love the results they give you.


2. Spinning around in a circle


This is a non-calorie-burning exercise. Say what? Yeah, that's not how this exercise helps you to lose weight. It helps at a deeper root level... your hormonal level. You see, a lot of people who are obese have screwed up and whacky hormones. I won't get into the reasons on how that happened since they're far too numerous, but a neat little way to restore balance with your hormones is with spinning in a circle.


Do this will your arms out and spin until you're slightly dizzy. To be safe, do a few practice sets of 5 spins and see how dizzy you are after them.


Did I not tell you those were new exercises? I lived up to my end of the bargain, now you need to try these out for a few weeks and live up to your end... you'll be glad you did.

Crash diets have always been very popular and appealing for the vast majority of people, who desire to lose weight. Everyone wants to lose weight quickly and crash diets do just that. Which is exactly the reason people use them so much for weight loss. But there are also side-effects of crash diets. Should you lose weight with crash diets?


The main problem that every person, who is overweight or even obese, is that they eat too much food. Basically they are addicted to food - some more, some less. So it is very hard to stop eating the foods you like overnight and never eat them again.


The problem is that when you go on a very strict diet, then you certainly lose a lot of weight very quickly, but it is very hard to stay on such a diet. When you can have 1-2 cheat meals a week, then you are less likely to give up and can enjoy losing weight. Although you may not lose as much weight in the beginning, but since you can and will gain it all back, it is worthless anyway. Maintaining your weight, is a much more difficult challenge.


Another very important aspect about weight loss is stress. So many people try to get rid of stress by eating foods. You are even more likely to fail with a diet, if you have these problems. Finding some way to relief stress other than food, is essential.
